Fulfilment Cost Calculator for Singapore Sellers

See what it costs to keep your stock in a Singapore fulfilment warehouse and ship your orders from it, month by month. Enter your product’s size and weight, how many units you send in and how many you expect to sell each month. The calculator works out inbound fees, storage on the stock that is left as it sells down, pick and pack, and returns, all in Singapore dollars (SGD). It is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is sent to us unless you choose to send it on WhatsApp. Tap “Get my PDF report on WhatsApp” and we will reply with a PDF report that explains each fee.

Orders above the bulky weight use these rates instead of the weight bands, with no extra item fee. Set the first box to 0 to turn this off.

Chargeable weight is the larger of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (L × W × H in cm ÷ divisor). A fee comes from the first band whose max weight is at or above it.

How to use the calculator

  1. Describe one product (SKU): its weight in kg, its length, width and height in cm, how many items are in a typical order, and the share of orders that are returned.
  2. Fill in the month table: the units you send to the warehouse at the start of each month and the units you expect to sell that month. Leave inbound at 0 in months with no new shipment. Add up to 24 months.
  3. Read the results: the cost of each month, the total, the cost per unit sold and per order, and the stock left at the end. Download a CSV to keep or share the figures.

How the costs are calculated

  • CBM per unit = length × width × height in cm ÷ 1,000,000. Chargeable weight is the larger of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 6,000).
  • Inbound = units received × (CBM per unit × S$5.80 receiving fee per CBM + stocking fee per item by chargeable weight, from S$0.08 up to 0.5 kg). Counting (S$0.05 per item) or labelling and barcoding (S$0.10 per item) can be added.
  • Storage is S$1.20 per CBM per day on the stock held at 12am each day. The new stock arrives at the start of the month, and sales are spread evenly over a 30-day month, so storage = CBM per unit × S$1.20 × (30 × opening stock − units sold × 29 ÷ 2).
  • Pick and pack is charged per order by the order’s chargeable weight, from S$0.80 up to 0.5 kg, plus S$0.40 for each item from the 3rd item in an order. Units sold ÷ items per order gives the number of full orders. Any units left over make one smaller order, charged at its own weight.
  • Returns = orders × the return rate × S$0.50 per returned parcel for return processing and restock or disposal.
  • Stock left at the end of a month carries over to the next. If you enter more sales than you have stock, only the units in stock are sold, and the calculator shows how many units you were short.

Worked example: a 25 × 20 × 10 cm product weighing 0.6 kg has 0.005 CBM and a chargeable weight of 0.83 kg. Inbound is 0.005 × S$5.80 + S$0.10 = S$0.129 per unit, so 600 units cost S$77.40. In month 1 the warehouse holds 600 units and 200 are sold: storage = 0.005 × S$1.20 × (30 × 600 − 200 × 29 ÷ 2) = S$90.60. Pick and pack for 200 single-item orders is 200 × S$0.90 = S$180.00, and 2% returns add S$2.00, so month 1 costs S$350.00.

Frequently asked questions

How much does fulfilment cost in Singapore?

It depends on how much space your stock takes up and how many orders you ship. At Singapore Fulfilment you pay an inbound fee when stock arrives (S$5.80 per CBM plus a stocking fee from S$0.08 per item), storage of S$1.20 per CBM per day, pick and pack from S$0.80 per order, and S$0.50 per returned parcel. This calculator adds these up month by month for your product.

Why does storage cost less each month?

Storage is charged on the stock in the warehouse each day. As your units sell, there is less stock to store, so each month’s storage falls until you send in a new shipment. Sending smaller shipments more often keeps storage low, but each shipment has its own inbound and freight costs.

How is pick and pack charged for orders with several items?

Each order pays one fee by its total chargeable weight, and up to 2 items are included. From the 3rd item onwards, S$0.40 per item is added. For example, 3 items of 1 kg each make a 3 kg order: S$1.00 for the weight band plus S$0.40 for the 3rd item, so S$1.40.

What is CBM and how do I work it out?

CBM means cubic metres. Multiply the length, width and height of one unit in centimetres and divide by 1,000,000. A 25 × 20 × 10 cm box is 5,000 cm³, or 0.005 CBM. Measure the product in its packaging as it will sit on the shelf.

Do I need to pay anything upfront?

Yes. A top-up balance of S$100 is required before inbounding and order fulfilment begin. Storage is billed at the start of each month and other services at the end of the month.

Is my data saved or shared?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is sent to us unless you tap “Get my PDF report on WhatsApp”. That opens WhatsApp with your numbers and a link to your calculation, and you decide whether to send it. Your inputs are remembered only in this browser so you can come back to them, and “Reset to defaults” clears them.
